Strategic Leadership Development · Manager Accelerator

Build managers who execute the strategy — not just manage the work.

Most managers are promoted for being excellent at their job, then never taught to think strategically, make business decisions, or turn strategy into execution. The Strategic Leader Accelerator™ closes that gap — so priorities actually land, performance improves, and problems get solved instead of escalated.

Start with the Strategic Leadership Diagnostic™ — see exactly where execution is breaking down before you invest a dollar in development.

Led by a fractional COO MBA, Operations Management B.S., Psychology of the Workplace Lean Six Sigma Black Belt PMI-trained Built the Theory–Reality Gap™
What it’s costing you

Managers work harder. Execution still slows.

Teams grow dependent on their leader. Priorities compete. Improvement stalls. Strategic initiatives lose momentum — and the plan you committed to slips another quarter. It isn’t effort and it isn’t talent. It’s that no one ever taught these managers how organizations create value, or how the decisions they make every day either build that value or quietly leak it.

The gap, made visible

The distance between the plan and what gets delivered.

Every organization has one. The question is whether it’s been measured. Drag the slider to see what happens as it widens.

The landscape

Manager capability is where the plan is won or lost.

That gap isn’t a strategy problem — the evidence puts it squarely at the manager layer, and the market is already moving its money there.

The difference

Most programs teach interpersonal leadership. This teaches organizational leadership.

Leadership isn’t only about managing people — it’s about creating the conditions that let people, and the organization, succeed. Which is why this is measured in business results, not course completions.

Business results, not soft skills

Built for performance

Strategic thinking, business acumen, and operational judgment — the capabilities that show up in performance, not just engagement scores.

They practice on your problems

Value created while they learn

Participants apply frameworks to live business challenges, so the work produces returns before the program ends.

Built on your gaps

You fund what’s missing

The diagnostic sets the agenda — so you invest in the capabilities you actually lack, not a standard curriculum.

Led by an operator

Guidance that survives reality

Designed and facilitated by a fractional COO who has built and fixed real operations — not a trainer teaching models.

The outcome we produce

A manager layer that executes — watch the gap close.

Drag through the program to see what changes each week — and how far the execution gap has closed by the time your managers finish.

The Strategic Leadership Diagnostic™

Before we develop anyone, we measure. The diagnostic shows where your managers’ capability is strong, where it is missing, and where strategy is failing to become execution — the Theory–Reality Gap™ inside your organization.

You receive a written gap report scoring every capability area, the specific points where execution breaks down, a prioritized sequence for what to address first, and a baseline to measure against when the program ends — so the change is provable rather than assumed.

How it works

From diagnosis to measurable change.

Four steps — select one to see what it involves.

What’s inside

Five capability areas. Built to your priorities.

The diagnostic determines which areas your cohort focuses on — and how deep it goes.

A

Business & Value Creation

Managers learn how organizations create value — and make decisions that protect margin and growth instead of eroding them.

B

Strategy → Execution

Strategy gets translated into clear team priorities and decision rights, with the operating rhythm to deliver it.

C

Performance & Improvement

Managers find and close performance gaps, lead continuous improvement, and strengthen the systems teams depend on.

D

Leading Through Others

Delegation, accountability, and coaching — so results come through the team rather than through the manager.

E

Change & Organizational Capability

Managers lead change with confidence and build capabilities competitors can’t easily replicate.

Who it’s for

Managers being handed more than they were prepared for.

They were promoted because they were excellent at the work. Now they are accountable for outcomes no one taught them to produce — translating strategy, making business trade-offs, and delivering results through other people.

The Accelerator is built for that transition — the point where technical strength stops being enough.

Most relevant when

Your organization is growing or restructuring, a wave of managers has been newly promoted or newly stretched, and execution has begun slipping in ways that do not trace back to the strategy itself. If the plan is sound but the results keep arriving late, this is the layer to work on.

Why now

The gap compounds. Waiting is the expensive option.

Every quarter your managers cannot translate strategy is a quarter of missed plan, escalations absorbed by executives, and improvement that does not hold. Eight weeks from now you can have a manager layer that executes — with a measured before-and-after that proves it, and a live performance gap already closed.

Common questions

What leaders usually ask.

Most leadership training teaches interpersonal leadership — communication, feedback, emotional intelligence. Those matter, but they don’t teach a manager how the business creates value, how to translate strategy into priorities, or how to close a performance gap. This program teaches organizational leadership, and it’s measured in business results rather than course completions. The two are complementary, not competing.

One 2-hour session per week, plus applied work between sessions. That applied work isn’t homework — it’s their actual job. Participants work on a real problem inside their own team, so most of it gives time back rather than taking it.

Two ways. We measure with the Strategic Leadership Diagnostic™ before and after, so you can see the movement. And every participant closes a real performance gap during the program — meaning you see a business result while it’s still running, not six months later.

No. Start with the diagnostic (from $2,500). It tells you whether there’s a gap worth funding and what to fix first — and you can act on that report with or without us. If you move forward, the fee is credited toward whichever path you choose.

That’s common, and it’s exactly what the diagnostic sorts out. Results show where the group is strong and where it’s uneven, so the cohort can be weighted accordingly. For wide gaps, we split into cohorts by level or add a manager-of-managers track in the Custom path.

Yes — virtual, in-person, or hybrid. Virtual cohorts are easiest to schedule across locations; in-person works well for a kickoff and the final capstone. Custom engagements are scoped to what your team needs.

Cohorts run with a minimum of 10 participants and no upper limit — larger groups are structured into breakout cohorts so everyone still presents their work. It’s built for middle managers, department and operations managers, program and project managers, emerging directors, and high-potential leaders being prepared for more responsibility.

Your initial investment is $2,500 — the Strategic Leadership Diagnostic™. That is the only commitment required to start, and it is credited toward whatever follows. From there: Core from $45,000 per cohort, Diagnostic-Led from $75,000, and custom engagements from $50,000. What moves the number is the degree of customization, whether 1:1 coaching is included for every participant, and engagement length — custom scopes can extend beyond 12 weeks.
